TORONTO -- Redline Communications, a leading provider of standards-based broadband wireless equipment, today announced that Are Network has chosen Redline's RedMAX(TM) products for one of the first WiMAX networks in Sweden. Are Network will deliver high-speed Internet and VoIP services to thousands of consumers and businesses in the Jamtland region, the location of the 2007 FIS Alpine World Ski Championship. DataEquipment, Redline's certified, Value Added Distributor in Nordic countries is providing local logistics and post-sales operations support to roll out the WiMAX Forum Certified(TM) RedMAX network.

Are Network joins the growing field of emerging network operators that are choosing 802.16-2004 solutions to quickly establish broadband wireless networks that offer the features and performance they need to offer advanced communications services. Are Network selected Redline's proven WiMAX Forum Certified(TM) RedMAX system to deliver advanced broadband wireless voice, video and data services to the geographically challenging region of Jamtland. The community of Nordannalden is the first phase in the deployment of Are Network's regional WiMAX network that will eventually bring advanced broadband wireless connectivity to the entire Jamtland area.
