Tejas deploys nationwide network for Dhaka TelePhone

BANGALORE, India -- Tejas Networks, a leading enabler of high-performance telecom infrastructure has deployed the nationwide network for one of Bangladesh’s leading telecom providers, Dhaka TelePhone. Dhaka Telephone presently has extensive coverage in urban districts of Bangladesh and plans extensive coverage of rural areas as well.

Dhaka TelePhone built its network using Tejas’ TJ100 range of Next Gen-SDH/SONET platforms, specifically for backhauling their wireless network. “We are extremely pleased to have Dhaka TelePhone as a customer. We look forwrad to Dhaka Telephone’s continued success in building a larger network in Bangladesh.
