Mindspeed Unveils Video Switch Chip

The new devices are based on Mindspeed's advanced switch architecture designed for high-speed optical networking applications, and are the company's first products targeted at the broadcast video market. By applying its expertise in developing high-speed, cost-effective network products, Mindspeed is expanding into adjacent markets with solutions for new applications.
