Kam Saifi steps down as president and CEO but will remain on the board

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- ION Networks Incorporated (OTC: IONN - News), a provider of security and management solutions that protect critical infrastructure from internal and external security threats, announced that it has reached a mutual and amicable arrangement resulting in the departure of Kam Saifi, President and CEO. The Company is continuing to negotiate the specific terms of Mr. Saifi's separation and the termination of his employment agreement. Mr. Saifi will remain on ION Networks' Board of Directors and will advise the Company as it continues to seek strategic alternatives. Mr. Stephen M. Deixler will assume the role of interim-CEO in addition to his current responsibilities as Chairman of the Board of Directors and interim-CFO of ION Networks. ION Networks is negotiating to retain a replacement CEO. ION Networks Inc.
