Inphi Wins ISO 9001 Certification

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. -- Inphi Corporation, a leading manufacturer of analog mixed signal electronic components for computing, and communications, today announced that it has received certification as an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 Fabless IC company. Inphi received the certification for both engineering and manufacturing after exhaustive review of its business practices and procedures.

The certification recognizes the company’s ongoing efforts to meet stringent quality assurance in product design and development, and demonstrates Inphi’s continuing commitment to leverage management systems and processes to ensure its customers receive the highest quality components available. The ISO 9000 Standard was written by representatives from the United States and 14 European countries and published in 1987 by the International Organization of Standards in Geneva, Switzerland. The requirements of the Standard are aimed primarily at achieving customer satisfaction by preventing nonconformity at all stages. The requirements include management leadership, a pro-active and well-trained work force, customer feedback, measurement, documentation, internal audits, continuous improvement and third-party validation.
