Art Pumo has joined the former ACT MicroDevices as its new Vice President for Human Resources

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Haleos, The New ACT MicroDevices, today announced that Art Pumo has joined the company as its new Vice President for Human Resources. With more than 30 years of corporate experience, his leadership brings Haleos a wide range of practice in human resources, management and organizational development. Pumo joined the IBM Corp. as a systems engineer in 1963, and after successful technical and management assignments in that area decided to move into Human Resources in 1974. He spent the rest of his 30-year IBM career in a variety of staff, management and executive Human Resources positions, at the company's corporate headquarters and several of its major operating locations. He was one of IBM's recognized leaders in such HR disciplines as resource planning, staffing, benefits administration and employee development. Haleos Inc.
