Fujitsu to Resell ADVA Products

MARTINSRIED/MUNICH, Germany, and RAMSEY, N.J. -- ADVAOptical Networking (German Neuer Markt: ADV), a leading global provider ofoptical networking solutions, today announced a strategic Original EquipmentManufacturer ("OEM") distribution partnership with Fujitsu NetworkCommunications, Inc., the North American telecommunications arm of FujitsuLtd., to deliver one of the industry's most complete, best-of-breed, andend-to-end optical networking portfolios to carriers and service providersin North America.Under the terms of the agreement, Fujitsu Network Communications willmarket, sell, support, and influence the development of ADVA's Fiber ServicePlatform ("FSP") 500 and FSP 3000 products as members of its FLASHWAVE® 7000product family. The FSP 500 will be sold under the FLASHWAVE 7410 label,and the FSP 3000 under the FLASHWAVE 7420 label.
