SmartDefender Managed Security Services are designed to allow organizations to leverage the experience and vigilance of Vigilar’s information security experts in order to protect the value of their networked assets.

Intrusion prevention systems (IPS) utilize signatures and baselines to detect and obstruct anomalous behavior, viruses and malicious code from doing damage to hosts and networks. As part if its SmartDefender Managed Security Services, Vigilar provides enhanced wired or wireless IPS monitoring and management, on-demand technical support, heightened security, historical reporting and a web-based portal to provide clients a current snapshot of the organization’s security posture. SmartDefender also provides product or device life cycle management and includes the latest attack signature update applications from all vendors.
