Sigma integrates its service management platform and VOIP service package with CSG's Advanced Convergent Platform (ACP)

TORONTO and DENVER, Colo. -- Sigma Systems, (www.sigma-systems.com), the broadband IP and wireless industry's leading provider of OSS (operations support systems) service management solutions, today announced its award- winning Sigma Service Management Platform and VoIP Service Package has been successfully integrated with global billing and customer care solutions provider CSG Systems' (NASDAQ: CSGS) Advanced Convergent Platform (ACP).

This end-to-end integration delivers significant advantages for convergent broadband operators by providing a fully automated business and operational environment for digital voice services. Order entry, customer care and billing processes are streamlined by CSG and manual order management processes are removed with Sigma - therefore error and order fall- out rates rapidly decline while service provisioning dial tone, call features, voice mail and CLEC gateways is fully automated.

Since the joint solution is pre-integrated, the costs associated with deploying it dramatically reduced - something firmly in the purview of cable operators that are looking to launch or expand digital voice deployments.

The Sigma Service Management Platform provides order management, service authorization, resource management, and service provisioning capabilities facilitated by an integration framework to a carrier's existing operations support systems (OSS) and the business support system (BSS) provided by CSG's Advanced Convergent Platform.. The Sigma VoIP Service Package is pre-configured to manage specific voice services and interface with specific third-party systems to manage and fulfill PacketCable VoIP services for a specific operator. Advanced graphical user interfaces and tools manage the platform and allow different groups of users to seamlessly interact with this proven and deployed OSS solution offering.
