WASHINGTON -- RADCOM (NASDAQ:RDCM - News), a leading network test and service monitoring solutions provider, today announced the immediate availability of its P1000 portable Performer(TM) platform. The P1000 is a heavy-duty, high-performance test solution for field troubleshooting of cellular, data and VoIP networks. Like its sister, R-4000(TM) rack-mount version, the P1000 is powered by the company's proprietary GEAR(TM), a fully customized analyzer processor with a capture rate of up to 2.4Gbps.

Lightweight, rugged and versatile, the P1000 offers three protocol, technology and rate independent hardware processors, allowing for field testing of up to three different lines, simultaneously. The Performer's robust hardware and software infrastructure gives customers the option of deploying intelligent, compact, high performance analyzer/probes to mission-critical network deployments under the umbrella of a centrally or regionally deployed management/reporting platform. It is also an ideal tool for real-time troubleshooting and protocol analysis of WAN/LAN/ATM/PoS/Metro networks at all seven layers. The Performer employs Global Positioning System (GPS) and Network Time Protocol (NTP) to conduct time-related measurement such as round-trip delay and end-to-end latencies.

"The Performer platform offers unmatched online and post capture processing performance," said Avi Zamir, President of RADCOM Equipment, Inc. "It's a cost-effective, high performance, multi-interface, multi-technology and multi-application platform that makes it easier for network managers and field service engineers to troubleshoot 2.5/3G cellular, VoIP and data communications technologies anywhere, anytime."
