Optimus Taps Verio

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Verio, a subsidiary of NTT Communications and a leader in managed hosting solutions, today announced it has formed a partnership with OPTIMUS Corporation, a leading federal government IT contractor. Under terms of the agreement, OPTIMUS joins the viaVerio® Government Partner Program and designates Verio as its premier managed services provider.

Since 1992, OPTIMUS has developed innovative information technology tools and services to enhance public safety, health and the national defense for government customers like the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Environment Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Defense (DOD).

Today, federal information technology officers are tasked with ever-growing demands and complexity around their IT environments, especially in the areas of defense, enterprise management and disaster recovery. As a result of its expertise in the global hosting and managed services market, Verio is uniquely qualified to advise integrator partners and federal agencies on compliance, complex storage and mission-critical security issues.
