Optical Market "in 7% Decline"

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- According to Dell’Oro Group, the Optical Networking Market (incl. DWDM–Metro, DWDM–Long Haul, and SONET/SDH) declined 7% Q/Q with revenues of $5.5 Billion in 3Q00. While most market segments that comprise the optical market realized some losses, the Metro-DWDM Market posted Q/Q growth of 37% to $108.2 Million.
