VOIP vendor appoints Pong Lim, Ditech founder, chairman and chief executive officer

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Pong Lim, a high-tech industry veteran, has been named chairman and chief executive officer of Mockingbird Networks, a leading VoIP systems manufacturer developing SecureVoice tm VOICE-VPN solutions for Enterprises. Pong has over 20 years of senior management experience in the technology industry including start-ups, turnarounds, and an IPO. Pong re-founded Ditech Communications (DITC) and brought it public in 1999 as Chairman, and co-founded several startups as chairman, CEO and active board member. Earlier in his career Pong held general management, engineering and finance positions at Alcatel/DSC/Granger Associates, Fairchild Semiconductors, and Proctor & Gamble. Founded in 1997, Mockingbird has developed a suite of products technology targeting the VoIP market. Since early 2000, the Company's products have been carrying VoIP traffic for revenues worldwide. In 2001, the Company introduced second-generation media gateways and multi-protocol servers enabling interoperability between H.323 and SIP networks.
