Lumentis Supplies I.NET

STOCKHOLM -- Lumentis AB and I.NET SpA, a BT Group Plc (British Telecom) subsidiary and Application Infrastructure Provider (AIP) in the Italian market, announce purchase of Lumentis’ carrier-class CWDM system for I.NET’s network. This proves Lumentis’ ability to satisfy carriers’ main concerns today when selecting new equipment - reducing initial and total capital expenditures (CAPEX) as well as operational expenditures (OPEX).

By deploying Lumentis’ CWDM equipment, I.NET will have a scaleable transmission platform, which can support CWDM, DWDM and SDH solutions and any client Interface such us STM-1, GBE, Fiberchannel etc. up to 10Gb/s.
