PARIS, and HERNDON, Va. -- InfoVista (Euronext IFV-FR0004031649), the leading provider of service performance assurance, today announced it has expanded its performance management solution to enable service providers to more readily launch new Carrier Ethernet services that support revenue growth. In spite of a sluggish economy, the Carrier Ethernet market continues to be one of the fastest growing segments in the telecom industry. InfoVista continues to make it easier for service providers to have the network intelligence needed to offer new services with the added advantage of dedicated reports, workflows, and technologies that align with Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU) standards. Additionally, VistaInsight for Networks 4 offers enhanced support for Ethernet equipment and technologies from leading vendors to support the increased adoption of Carrier Ethernet cross domain.

“With adoption of Carrier Ethernet on the rise, in part due to the wholesale of mobile backhaul, alternative VPNs, and storage and data center consolidation, service providers need OSS tools that support Carrier Ethernet standards to enable rapid rollout of these new services,” said Kevin Vachon, chief operating officer for MEF. “We are proud that InfoVista is a participating MEF member and the alignment of VistaInsight for Networks with MEF specifications supports both the growing global acceptance of Carrier Ethernet and service providers in their pursuit of accelerated revenue growth.”
