Huawei Technologies announced the addition of Jerry Prestinario to the company’s North American executive team

PLANO, Texas -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (“Huawei”), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications networks for carriers around the world, today announced the addition of Jerry Prestinario to the company’s North American executive team. Prestinario’s extensive background in delivering networks and support services for the telecommunications industry will enhance Huawei’s growing reputation as a competitive equipment manufacturer in the North America telecom market.

As vice president of Huawei’s Technical Services Division, North American Region, Prestinario will have full responsibilities for all customer technical support and delivery services. Huawei’s Technical Services Division (TSD) provides engineering services (including network planning, installation and optimization); hardware services; 24x7 Technical Assistance Center support (including help desk, Web-based and on-site support); and customer training.

With decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, Prestinario brings a proven ability to build organizations and to market new product concepts with a focus on financial results. Prior to joining Huawei, Prestinario served in leadership roles at several major telecommunications companies, including Lucent and AT&T, where he refined his expertise in customer support and service delivery.
