eXchange @ 200 Paul touts 'significant growth' for its carrier hotel and colocation services in the first half of 2003

SAN FRANCISCO -- eXchange @ 200 Paul, the first premier marketplace combining the most advanced carrier hotel and colocation facilities for network providers and enterprises, announced significant growth for its carrier hotel and colocation services in the first half of 2003. Highlights include expansion of its second San Francisco Bay area carrier hotel facility in Santa Clara, CA, an expanded choice of high speed network and services at both facilities, exponential growth in its colocation business and continued financial stability and growth.

Growth in eXchange @ 200 Paul's colocation and carrier hotel services includes:

  • Expansion of 1100 Space Park facility--At its second San Francisco Bay area facility, 1100 Space Park in Santa Clara, eXchange @ 200 Paul has added a number of carriers and network service providers to its carrier hotel including Verizon Global Networks, SBC Communications Inc., WilTel Communications, Qwest, Neopolitan Networks, Looking Glass Networks, Silicon Valley Power and Tyco Telecom. Between its two facilities, eXchange @ 200 Paul now has over 42 carriers and IP service providers.

  • Expanded High Bandwidth Service--Within its 200 Paul Avenue facility in San Francisco, eXchange @ 200 Paul now provides an unmatched 65 high speed, state-of-the-art GigaBit Ethernet connections through 11 services providers including NTT/Verio, Above.net, WilTel Communications, Cogent Communications, OnFiber Communications and Optigate.

  • Telecommunications Customer Win--eXchange @ 200 Paul completed the only 2003 telecommunications real estate shell space deals in the San Francisco Bay Area Region with Verizon Global Networks' decision to locate at 200 Paul Avenue in San Francisco and at the 1100 Space Park facility in Santa Clara.
