Transition Joins MEF

MINNEAPOLIS -- The conversion technology and switching expert, Transition Networks Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Communications Systems, Inc., today announced it has joined the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), an industry alliance comprising more than 90 organizations including telecommunications service providers, network equipment/software manufacturers, semiconductors vendors and testing organizations. As a member of the MEF, Transition Networks will work closely with industry evangelists to accelerate the worldwide adoption of Carrier-class Ethernet networks and services.
