Tejas Networks launches its TJ2000 carrier Ethernet platform

BERLIN -- Tejas Networks, a leading enabler of high-performance transmission infrastructure, announced the launch of its TJ2000 series of Carrier Ethernet platforms at the Carrier Ethernet World Congress 2008 (CEWC), Berlin. Tejas Networks is showcasing the TJ2030 (part of the TJ2000 series) at the Interop Event 2008 demonstrating end-to-end Carrier Ethernet Service delivery over a PBB/PBB-TE Aggregation Network. At this event the TJ2030 demonstrated the industry’s first implementation of ring protection based on ITU-T G.8032.
