SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. -- Celox Networks, the company delivering the most scalable edge aggregation and IP service switch for large service providers, today announced a comprehensive set of technical support and professional services specifically designed to support the upgrade and expansion of global service provider networks. The company also announced that its second beta trial is underway with a U.S.-based inter-exchange carrier (IXC). In providing customer support services, it is the people and their experience that helps differentiate vendors. Celox Networks has assembled a services team that has designed, installed and managed global service provider networks, either working for a large service provider or as a vendor supporting one. The group is led by Thien Doan, Celox Networks' Area Vice President for Services, who previously ran the broadband professional services organization at Lucent Technologies. In over 16 years of data networking experience at Lucent, Ascend, Cascade and other companies, Thien has worked with major service providers worldwide in the integration and deployment of global networks based on ATM, frame relay, optical and IP technologies. "Typically seen as a check list item, we view our services organization as another way to differentiate ourselves in the market based on the team's extensive experience supporting large service providers," said Kent Mathy, Chairman, President and CEO of Celox Networks.
