Capgemini, Nokia, and Oracle announce managed mobility services collaboration

MONACO -- Capgemini, Nokia and Oracle today announced a new joint Managed Mobility Services Collaboration to provide cost-effective, scalable enterprise-wide mobility. The Managed Mobility Services are designed to provide utility-priced mobility solutions completed with a portfolio of support services including configuration, security, and call center and asset management. The new collaboration leverages the combined consulting and technology strength of the three companies will accelerate the development of new enterprise mobility solutions.

Delivering enterprise quality mobility solutions have been the focus for the Nokia and Oracle alliance announced in February 2003. With the addition of Capgemini services, a managed mobility service will become a reality. The three companies will have an operational showcase running Oracle® Collaboration Suite fully integrated to Capgemini's Les Fontaines site, home of Capgemini's University and a multitude client programs and events.

"This showcase will enable both Capgemini Les Fontaines mobile workers as well as clients and university participants to fully leverage the benefits of mobility by using it as they go through their stay", says Mal Postings, Global Mobility Leader.
