Array Intros Enterprise SSL VPN

CAMPBELL, Calif. -- Array Networks, a leading provider of secure application deployment appliances for Global 2000 companies, today announced the availability of the industry’s first true enterprise scale VPN appliance. Based on Array’s Security Proxy series SSL VPN platform, the Array Networks SPX Family of appliances provides the security and performance capabilities developed and proven in large-scale Global 500 deployments in a plug-and-play secure access solution for Global 2000 organizations.

The Array SPX2000 and SPX3000 SSL VPN appliances are the first SSL VPN products that bring network performance, reliability and scalability to SSL VPN access. The SPX family of SSL VPN appliances delivers a number of features that improve the administration and management of secure access including: virtualized portals, advanced VPN address management, URL aliasing, proxy compatibility, and enhanced Windows application support. These SPX enhancements improve upon the SP platform’s suite of network security and Web optimization functionality that includes SSL VPN access for Web and legacy applications, identity management, application-layer firewalling, and Web-based traffic management features.
