WILMINGTON, Mass. -- Agiltron, Inc., a vertically integrated manufacturer of premium fiberoptic components, announces immediate commercial availability of high optical power versions of many of its standard products. These high power versions have power handling capability of up to 10W continuous. The available components include fiberoptic switches, electronically controllable variable optical attenuators (EVOA), isolators, circulators, and collimators. Versions of these high power devices cover the wavelength range from 400 to 1600 nm.

Dr. Jing Zhao, Agiltron’s President, stated “the extension of Agiltron’s broad product lines to include high power components is the next step towards our goal of becoming a one stop provider of optical components serving the communications, security, defense, and medical and industrial processing markets. Not only are we able to provide passive high power components, but we can now provide our customers with reconfigurable devices that can operate at high power levels.”
