Cognizant selects Savvis’ cloud infrastructure service to offer enhanced business value and agility to clients

ST. LOUIS -- Savvis, a CenturyLink company (NYSE: CTL) and global leader in cloud infrastructure and hosted IT solutions for enterprises, today announced that Cognizant, a leading provider of information technology, consulting and business process outsourcing services, has selected Savvis cloud and data center services to further expand its capabilities to deliver cloud-based solutions.

Cognizant will combine Savvis’ services with its market-leading remote infrastructure management, application, consulting and business process services to help its clients drive business transformation, and improve cost and operational efficiencies. Cognizant will use a combination of data center services and a private version of Savvis Symphony Virtual Private Data Center (VPDC), an enterprise-class cloud computing solution.
