NORCROSS, Ga. -- MInet, a provider of voice, video and data services to the municipalities of Monmouth and Independence, Oregon, has selected Triad by ETI Software Solutions to automate the provisioning of its Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) network for the delivery of voice, video and data services. ETI (www.etisoftware.com) is a leading developer of service activation software automating FTTP, video, telephone and data services.

MInet, which was formed through the cooperation of the two municipalities, is in the process building out its FTTP network that will deliver voice, video and data services to the citizens of Monmouth and Independence. MInet required an FTTP service automation platform that would link its billing system to the FTTP and Digital Video Network easily and cost effectively.

The network is expected be completed by the end of the year and the two communities will leverage the state-of-the-art infrastructure to attract new businesses and development to the area.

"ETI was able to provide the piece of the puzzle we were looking for - a full suite of tools to automate the provisioning of our FTTP and digital television network directly from our billing and customer care system," says Phil Garrett, Manager of MInet. "ETI's Triad is cost-effective both to deploy and operate. This was critical for the Minet initiative as it operates as a private-sector business and is not funded by taxpayer dollars."
