10:00 AM -- The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has announced steep cuts in the tariffs paid by private telecom companies to state-run BSNL to provide services.

  • Cell operators 'disappointed' over ADC cut In a merger of the most geographically diverse CLECs you've probably never heard of, Portland-based Integra Telecom Inc. is acquiring Minnesota-based Eschelon Telecom Inc. (Nasdaq: ESCH) for $710 million. Eschelon has operations in Minnesota, Arizona, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada, Montana, and California.
