IRVINE, Calif. -- Comtrend Corporation, a leading supplier of broadband, VoIP and data networking equipment, today announced its new CT-5376 VDSL2 residential gateway. This multi-mode VDSL2/ADSL2+ is designed for increased performance within the connected home. The CT-5376 enables broadband customers the ability to move High Definition (HD) multimedia content within the home network via an integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch as well as an integrated 802.11n WiFi Access Point capable of achieving WiFi throughput in excess of 100Mbps.

Home networking at 1000Mbps
The Comtrend CT-5376 has an integrated 4-port 10/100/1000 BASE-T Ethernet switch with an additional 10/100/1000 FlexPort(TM) which can operate as a 5th LAN port or a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port for Fiber to the home applications.
