PARIS – Network X – As last week's event came to a close, Light Reading editors reflected on the top themes and trends discussed at Network X 2023. The need for more sustainability in network operations, and service providers' ongoing challenge to emulate hyperscalers were among the hot topics examined at the show.

The editors also discussed why 5G is more efficient than 4G and what's still troubling telcos about the public cloud.
