SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Silicon Access Networks, an industry leader in semiconductor data path processing solutions, today announced the appointment of Wayne Nemeth, a partner with The Sprout Group, to its board of directors. The Sprout Group is a venture capital firm focused on emerging technologies that manages more than $3 billion in committed capital. Mr. Nemeth joined The Sprout Group in 1998 and focuses on telecommunications components and systems investing. Before joining The Sprout Group, he worked at Bachow & Associates, where he focused on telecommunications and software venture capital investing. Prior to his venture capital career, he worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton, providing strategic and operational consulting to technology and manufacturing businesses.
