Broadwing's agrees to provide nationwide connectivity to Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company's twenty-two locations

CINCINNATI -- The integrated communications leader, Broadwing Inc. (NYSE: BRW), today announced an agreement to provide nationwide connectivity to Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company's twenty-two locations across the nation, allowing voice and data traffic, such as client files, claim forms, emails, or applications, to quickly and securely be transmitted from location to location across Broadwing's industry-leading, all-optical switched network. Broadwing is providing Atlantic Mutual with the unique, distance-insensitive private line solution, MultiConnect, which is a cost effective, scalable, easy-to-use, recoverable service for connecting up to twenty-eight remote locations seamlessly, for one flat monthly fee. "Atlantic Mutual wanted to improve the general infrastructure for a growing array of sophisticated communication and processing systems that enable us to deliver faster, better service to our customers, and at the same time provide our offices with faster access to critical applications based in our Technology and Customer Service Division in Roanoke, VA," said Don Padgett, assistant vice president, Information Technology, Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company.
