Ericsson Unveils P2P FTTH Platform

STOCKHOLM -- Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) broadens its Deep Fiber Access offerings with the industry’s most comprehensive portfolio for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH). Remaining at the forefront of high-capacity and cost-efficient point-to-point solutions, Ericsson has introduced the EFN432, a 32-port Gigabit Ethernet node to its award-winning EDA family, already including leading VDSL2 and GPON product offerings.

Ericsson’s EDA point-to-point (P2P) solutions now offer the widest range of bandwidth scalability for residential and enterprise users. The EFN432 offers Gig-to-the-home capabilities and enables user-centric multimedia services for the “now” communications. Ericsson’s P2P solutions offer flexible expansion options due to their aggregated nature and enable a common transport for mobile backhaul and FTTH.
