Avalon Signs Ex-Norteler

ZÜRICH, Switzerland – Avalon Photonics Ltd., a company supplying high-speed optoelectronic components for next-generation optical transceivers, today announced that it has elected Dr. Heinz Meier to its Board of Directors. Heinz Meier was until recently Sales and Marketing director at Nortel Networks, Switzerland. Prior to this he was Sales and Marketing director at JDS Uniphase.“We are convinced that Avalon will largely benefit from Heinz’s know-how, in particular from his marketing experiences.
