Aegis Acquires AOFR

WOBURN, Mass. and SYMONSTON, Australia -- Aegis Lightwave, a market leader in optical monitoring solutions for the fiber-optics communications industry, announced today the acquisition of AOFR Pty Limited, a subsidiary of Arasor International, Ltd. (ASX:ARR) and a leading supplier of fused fiber couplers for the communications, test equipment, industrial, sensing, military and aerospace markets. AOFR is headquartered in Canberra, Australia and will continue to sell products under its own brand identity.
