Bill Huber, ex-Nishan and 3Com, has joined the company as vice president of engineering and chief technology officer

SAN DIEGO -- StoneFly Networks, Inc., a soon-to-be launched company pioneering IP SAN storage, announced today that Bill Huber has joined the company as vice president of engineering and chief technology officer. He will be responsible for product development, including all technology, engineering and R&D for StoneFly, which plans to unveil its products this spring at major industry trade shows. “Bill will play an instrumental role in ensuring the successful launch of StoneFly’s unique storage networking solutions,” said CEO Allen Yuhas. “His experience working for marquee companies like Nishan and 3Com make him a valuable company resource as we launch our products and technology and forge new relationships in this critical launch phase.” Huber’s career spans more than 20 years of executive leadership, engineering management and product development, managing programs that included software, hardware, and custom ASIC development. He has held executive management positions at leading companies, including Nishan Systems, Inc., where he served as vice president of software engineering, and 3Com, where he was responsible for developing a line of 100Mb and Gigabit Ethernet NIC’s (network interface cards) and software extensions for the server market.StoneFly Networks Inc.
