CHATSWORTH, Calif. -- MRV COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (Nasdaq:MRVC), a leading provider of products and services for WDM and optical transport, metro Ethernet, fiber optic components, 10GE, out-of-band networking and other optical networking products, today announced plans to celebrate its 20th year of providing carrier-class network solutions with the launch of packet-optical transport products, booth presentations and giveaways at NXTcomm in Las Vegas from June 16th-19th (Booth SU6507).
MRV's twenty years has included many award winning and innovative technology firsts in optical components, WDM, and carrier Ethernet access solutions. With the convergence of Optical Ethernet Access, packet switching and WDM technology MRV is poised to be a market leader in the packet optical transport solution (P-OTS) arena.
The 20th anniversary celebration marks MRV's entrance into packet optical transport networking solutions with product launches covering its major optical transport and aggregation/demarcation product lines, along with an announcement of new capabilities of its free space optics (FSO) line.
