HENAN, China -- Nokia Siemens Networks today inaugurated a Global Delivery Center (GDC) hub in Zhengzhou, province of Henan. The new facility will provide tools, processes and skilled resources to remotely manage mobile broadband networks for operators in China and around the world. Pooling together existing competences and assets, it will also deliver full life-cycle services for TD-LTE*, reinforcing Nokia Siemens Networks leadership and contribution to a thriving TD-LTE ecosystem. The new GDC hub is an addition to Nokia Siemens Networks’ pioneering global service delivery model, designed to help operators bring services to market faster and improve the speed, quality and efficiency in network operations. It will complement the strengths of the company’s world class global delivery centers in India and Portugal, and six other global delivery hubs operating across the globe. With enhanced capabilities, Nokia Siemens Networks GDC hub will provide an increasing range of services, including technical consulting, network design, planning and optimization, systems integration, maintenance and managed services. It will also serve as a center of competence for TD-LTE. China is the ideal location for the new facility, as Nokia Siemens Networks can use the existing TD-LTE insight and experience to continue driving innovations and commercial deployments across the globe.
