Innovacom completes a first closing of over €50M on its new fund, Innovacom 5, which has a target size of €100M

PARIS -- Innovacom, one of Europe’s leading early stage telecom and information technology venture capital firms, has completed a first closing of over 50 million euros on its new fund, Innovacom 5.
Investors participating in the first closing of Innovacom 5 include Access Capital Partners, AGF Private Equity, CIC Finance, the European Investment Fund, the FPCR (Caisse des Dépots Group), and France Telecom, along with a select group of executives and leaders in the technology industry. A subsequent closing is expected to bring Innovacom 5 to its target size of 100 million euros.
Innovacom 5 will invest in the same core sectors as the previous Innovacom funds (Innovacom 1, 2, 3, 4 and Technocom): Materials & Components, Telecom Hardware, Telecom Software, Enterprise Software, and Services & Content. Innovacom 5’s distribution of investments is expected to be 75% in Europe, and 25% in North America.
