PRAGUE -- SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Czech Republic (formerly STROM telecom) today announced that T3 Telecom has become its newest customer to utilise its Next Generation Networks platform, TENNET. On 1st January 2007, the first Bosnian alternative operator, T3 Telecom introduced the MGC 9800 softswitch into commercial operation. This softswitch is used to provide telecommunications services based on IP technology. Telecommunications services are rendered using the communications environment of the dominant Bosnian operators. TENNET’s open architecture, in conjunction with the existing provider’s infrastructure, has enabled T3 Telecom to expand its internet connectivity and content services offered.
“SITRONICS TS is one of the premier telecommunications system vendors to have already launched a complete next generation network solution,” said Nihad Hurem, General Director of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Czech Republic. “The open architecture of the TENNET system made the quick launch of this new operator possible, and thanks to IP technology, this operator is able to provide services efficiently to its current and future subscribers.”
