VegaStream Partners With ETNS Singapore

BRACKNELL, U.K. -- VegaStream, a leading supplier of dedicated business VoIP (Voice over IP) Gateways, today announced that voice wholesaler ETNS Singapore Pte Ltd intend to use VegaStream gateways to deliver industry-leading VoIP services to enterprise customers throughout Asia and the African continent. ETNS estimates that VoIP deployment by an enterprise customer will pay for itself within three months through reduced call costs.

ETNS Singapore deploys wholesale TDM and VoIP technologies to customers throughout Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and the African continent. The company started testing VegaStream products early 2003 and now has a number of Vega 100 gateways in operation.

Supporting both SIP and H.323 standards, VegaStream gateways are compatible with ETNS's existing products and allow them to offer a complete VoIP solution that can be deployed anywhere within Asia.

Purchasing Vega 100 boxes direct from VegaStream, ETNS are able to pre-configure and ship out the products to remote sites within half and hour, maximising efficiency and staff time. ETNS also use VegaStream gateways to connect between its own four offices in Singapore, China and Malaysia reducing call costs and increasing efficiency.
