Taliescent Rents PMD Testers

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Taliescent Corporation have announced that a wide range of their polarization calibration artifacts are now available on a rental basis.

According to Feenix Y. Pan, Ph.D. (Director of Marketing),

“Fiber Optics is in great flux at this time. Many customers have requirements for system testing which are changing rapidly with the market. Verification of measurements for and simulation of polarization mode dispersion and polarization dependant loss are important in high bandwidth system testing but customers are often unsure of the typical values required for testing and simulating installed systems. Additionally there is a considerable installed base of PMD and PDL testers that require periodic calibration, traceable to national standards where possible, but capital allocated for calibration devices is under considerable financial pressure. We are therefore offering our PMD and PDL artifacts/simulators on a short to medium term rental basis. We are also offering “rent to own” schemes and “new for rental” exchange schemes so the customer is in final receipt of the calibration artifacts best suited to their range of systems and instruments. The scheme is highly cost effective and full details are available upon request.”
