SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Kagoor Networks announced today that Swisscom, Switzerland's leading telecoms company, has deployed Kagoor's VoiceFlow(tm) 3000 session border controllers to enable Swisscom's new Bluewin Phone consumer broadband offering for DSL-based VoIP, and video services. The consumer triple play solution incorporates Kagoor's session border controllers to provide network protection and hosted network address translation (NAT) solutions.

Utilizing Kagoor's VoIP over Broadband solution, Swisscom delivers VoIP, video and other SIP-based advanced consumer services over broadband connections, which will be available nationwide to all Bluewin ADSL customers.

Kagoor is the session border control leader in flexibility and functionality for IP networks that deliver voice, video and data. It is also the only vendor to provide carriers with a 3-way architecture for optimum application performance and the only vendor that provides integrated as well as split signaling and media for optimum flexibility and configuration. VoiceFlow is the leading solution for hosted NAT traversal, hosted VPN/VLAN address translation, and network protection for hosted IP telephony services.

The combined solution also utilizes Siemens SURPASS hiE 9200 softswitch and the SURPASS hiG 1200 VoIP media gateway, and Sylantro applications feature server.

"VoiceFlow was selected based on its SIP Support as well as advanced network protection and security features, " said Frank Dederichs, Head of Strategy & Business Development of Swisscom Fixnet Wholesale. "The solution offered by Kagoor, Siemens and Sylantro gives us the telco-grade performance and reliability that we require."
