Siemens supplies Bell Canada with E-series platforms from Juniper Networks for Bell Canada's Sympatico high-speed Internet customers

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario and SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Siemens Canada Limited and Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced that Bell Canada, Canada's leading integrated communications company, has deployed the Juniper Networks E-series throughout Ontario and Quebec to support its Bell Sympatico High Speed Internet Services. The E-series is a reliable and integrated platform that combines rich subscriber management capabilities with provider-class edge routing with the ability to cost-effectively scale services with subscriber growth. Its flexible ASIC-based architecture will enable Bell Canada to deliver high-speed access and next-generation broadband services requiring real-time quality of service, such as online games, music services, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications across its extensive Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) network.
