Aventail announces version 7.2 of its SSL VPN platform

SEATTLE -- Aventail Corporation (www.aventail.com), the leading SSL VPN product company, today announced the latest version of its Anywhere Secure Access Policy (ASAP) platform, version 7.2. To ship later this month, ASAP version 7.2 advances the common platform for Aventail's family of SSL VPN appliances with further enhancements to Aventail's end-point control features and administrative functions.

Version 7.2 includes an updated version of Aventail Secure Desktop (ASD), which provides market-leading data protection for access from remote or un-trusted systems. ASD creates a virtual desktop that ensures all information viewed or created during the session is encrypted and then erased according to Department of Defense specifications.
