WALTHAM, Mass. -- Auspice Corporation, the leading provider of real-time operations automation software, unveiled the next generation of its TLX Real-Time Systems Integration and Operations Automation Platform - Auspice® TLX® 5.0. TLX 5.0 continues to provide advanced capabilities to service providers for automating their best operations support systems processes for higher service assurance, revenue assurance and operating margins. The latest version of TLX enables service providers to deploy TLX-based solutions more cost-effectively through its ability to run on the Linux Operating System. It also contains a user-friendly TLX Dashboard and TLX Console that provide a more complete view of enterprise-wide deployments of TLX-based solutions, including detailed status and expanded execution control. Other features include enhancements to the MetaScript Language and the Database TIL.

Using TLX 5.0, service providers can dramatically increase the reliability and efficiency of their operations by automating processes across their existing business and operations support systems (e.g., billing, CRM, provisioning, network management, trouble ticketing systems, etc.) and network elements (e.g., CMTSs, subscriber cable modems, HFC plant elements, switches, etc.).

"The enhanced features of TLX 5.0 are a direct result of our strong customer partnerships and our commitment to working together to continuously improve our solutions for maximum value," explains Gary Cunha, Auspice Director of Products. "It also reflects our understanding of the needs of our customers to proactively develop solutions that address key areas of concern at both the business and operational level. The ability to run on the Linux OS brings to them, and to the entire industry, potential cost savings and operational efficiencies, while the new TLX Console provides the visibility and tools necessary for OSS personnel to deploy and manage TLX-based solutions."
