Cortina names James Mao new general manager of Asia Pacific region

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Cortina Systems, Inc (Cortina), one of the fastest-growing suppliers of intelligent communications solutions for network equipment manufacturers, today named James Mao the new general manager of the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Mao has worked in global telecommunication and networking companies for more than 17 years. Prior to joining Cortina, Mr. Mao held executive and general manager positions in both public and start up companies, such as UTStarcom, Turin Networks, Pegasus, and Nortel.
