RA’ANANA, Israel –– TraceSpanTM Communications, a provider of broadband monitoring solutions, today announced the release of its latest test equipment for ADSL2+ multi-layer analyzer. Leveraging patent-pending technology, DSL XpertTM 2208A breaks new ground as the industry’s only non-intrusive performance-analysis solution for ADSL2+ / ADSL2 and ADSL products. DSL XpertTM accelerates time to market and return on investment by cutting significant time from the development, deployment, debugging and interoperability verification of ADSL equipment.

DSL XpertTM is an easy-to-use modular tool designed for R&D and laboratory engineers engaged in the deployment of ADSL2+ / ADSL2 and ADSL standard-compliant solutions. The innovative DSL XpertTM analyzer verifies the interoperability of ADSL products offered by different vendors, and compares the performance of any combination of CO (central office) and customer-side modems (CPE). DSL XpertTM is a powerful solution for service providers (telcos and CLECS), next-generation ADSL2+ equipment (e.g. DSLAM, DLC, modem, router/gateway) manufacturers, and technology and chipset developers.

“We are proud to announce the Launch of our newest DSL XpertTM 2208A analyzer – our vendor-independent solution for ADSL interoperability testing,” said Dr. Hanan Herzberg, TraceSpan founder and CEO. “DSL XpertTM 2208A is a PC-controlled hardware solution with a user-friendly GUI that presents multi-layer information in convenient displays. Using DSL XpertTM, lab personnel can quickly and easily verify compliance to standards and performance of ADSL2+ / ADSL2 and ADSL products, leading to rapid system deployment.”
