SAN FRANCISCO -- Blueprint Ventures, a leading next-generation venture capital firm, announced today the addition of two senior partners to expand the firm’s investments and expertise in communications. Both partners bring extensive experience in operating and financing venture-backed communications start-ups. Cynthia Ringo, former CEO of CopperCom, joins Blueprint Ventures as general partner. Ann Zeichner, a serial entrepreneur and most recently the founding vice president of sales and marketing at NorthPoint Communications, joins the firm as venture partner. “We have worked with Cynthia and Ann for many years,” said founding General Partner Bart Schachter. “The Blueprint partners invested in and worked closely with both Cynthia and Ann as executives at CopperCom and NorthPoint. We then introduced them to each other, which culminated in the first commercially available Voice-over-Broadband network. Later, both became strategic advisors to the firm. Now the relationships are formalized as Cynthia and Ann both join Blueprint to expand our investments and expertise in the communications sector.”Blueprint Ventures
