CHICAGO -- Light Reading's Big Telecom Event -- WebNMS and Omnitron announced a partnership to allow network managers to use WebNMS software to manage Omnitron hardware.
The companies will integrate Omnitron Systems Technology Inc. 's iConverter GM4 Network Interface Device hardware with WebNMS software to permit dynamic provisioning and operation of network services to enable migration to carrier SDN orchestration.
Network providers can use WebNMS software with Omnitron hardware for service creation and delivery; automated service provisioning and activation testing, continuous service performance monitoring, and dynamic service adjustments through a customer portal using a RESTful API.
