Yao Ming Gets Own Service

BEIJING -- Leading wireless application service provider and co-publisher, Mobile Internet Group Pty Limited (MIG) and SOHU.com (NASDAQ:SOHU) , China's leading online media, communications, commerce and mobile value-added services company will formally launch the official Yao Ming wireless services on June 17, 2003.

MIG and Yao Ming have executed an exclusive agreement whereby MIG will build and host all official Yao Ming wireless services and content in Asia. Under a similar exclusive agreement, SOHU has built, and currently operates and promotes, the Yao Ming official website in the Chinese language (http://yaoming.net/china ). MIG and SOHU have signed an agreement to cooperate on offering Yao Ming wireless content on the Yao Ming site under http://mobile.yaoming.net/ .

The wireless services initially available range from a Yao Ming SMS (Short Messaging Services) Quiz to Yao Ming MMS (Multimedia Messaging Services) Color Greeting Cards with voice messages that users can download directly to their phones. Also on offer is the Yao Ming ZONE which provides Yao fans with daily Yao Ming SMS news and information, including messages written directly by the Gentle Giant himself that give fans insight into his life and playing career.
