BARCELONA, Spain -- StarHub, Singapore's fully-integrated info-communications company, has successfully launched its new virtual mobile number service based on fonYou’s carrier grade OMT-9000 service platform.
Called “2-in-1 LINE”, the StarHub service offers its customers a second mobile number on their existing phone and SIM card. After installing the 2-in-1 LINE smartphone app, customers will have access to a new range of cloud-based “over-the-top” services, such as visual voicemail, real-time call register and advanced filtering and blocking functions for incoming calls.
In a country where the mobile population penetration rate exceeds 150%, there is an obvious need for people to have a second mobile number, for example, to separate personal and business calls. StarHub's 2-in-1 LINE service addresses this need, delivers greater value to customers and at the same time strengthens customer loyalty.

A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
